Pharmacy assistants support pharmacists by handling all clerical tasks essential for the smooth operation of a pharmacy. This includes answering phone calls, managing the cash register, and replenishing medication and pharmaceutical supplies on shelves.

Clinic Assistants organise a clinic's medical records, and ensure that they are accurate and up-to-date. They may also help with other tasks such as making sure the clinic is clean and ready to receive patients, as well as sterilising equipment. 

The Dental Assistant assumes various responsibilities within the clinic, including administrative tasks and lab work supervised by the dentist. Their main duty involves preparing examination rooms for appointments, ensuring sterilization of instruments, and readiness of equipment for the dentist. 

The Patient Care Assistant assumes various responsibilities within the clinic, including ensuring clients receive their medication on time, supporting clients who can’t move on their own, helping clients dress, bathe, eat, etc.

A volunteer's responsibilities may include carrying out tasks assigned by their supervisor.
