WARD NURSE/MA
Ward nurse and MA provide patient care, administer medications, monitor vital signs, and assist with activities of daily living. They assess patient conditions, work with healthcare teams to develop and implement care plans ordered by doctors. Ward nurse and MA maintain accurate patient records, document observations, writing nursing reports, and communicate effectively with doctors and other healthcare professionals. They educate patients and families on healthcare needs, provide emotional support, and coordinate discharge planning. Additionally, ward nurse and MA participate in infection control measures and ensure patient safety.
OPD NURSE/MA
Outpatient nurse and MA provide patient care in clinics or medical office settings. They assess patient health status, administer medications, perform treatments, and assist with procedures. Outpatient nurse and MA educate patients on medical conditions, medications, and self-care techniques. They work with healthcare teams, maintain medical records, and ensure efficient clinic operations. They also perform appointment scheduling and follow-up care.
HOME NURSE
Home nurses provide essential medical care and support within patients' homes. This includes conducting health assessments, administering medications, dressing wounds, monitoring vital signs, and evaluating muscle weakness. They diligently observe and track patient conditions, ensuring timely communication with supervising physicians. PHARMACIST
Pharmacists dispense medications prescribed by doctors, ensuring accuracy and patient safety. They review patients' medications, offer guidance on optimal administration methods, and provide medication information to patients and healthcare professionals. Pharmacists collaborate as integral members of multidisciplinary teams, offering advice on medications to other healthcare professionals, addressing prescription issues, and mitigating prescribing errors. They monitor for drug interactions, promote medication adherence, maintain accurate medication records and participate in pharmacy management.
JUNIOR NURSE / MA RUNNER
Junior nurse and MA are trained professionals awaiting their Annual Practicing Certificate (APC) or holding a Registered on Non-practicing status -Retention of Name (RON). They assist in patient care activities under supervision, such as monitoring patient conditions, aiding in daily activities, and providing emotional support. Furthermore, they help transport patients, assist with lifting and positioning them, and support healthcare staff as required. However, they do not have authorization to serve or administer medications.
OPTOMETRIST
